I fell asleep (several times!) during last nights Lewis. Can anyone tell me what happened in Madagascar, other than the wife-swapping that lead to the murders

It was obviously an exciting episode !!

I think the point was was that David manipulated things to get his wife to get together with Hugh. This was because he wanted rid of her in the light of her murdering her baby brother.

Thanks, Wellard, can you also tell me where the dying professor fitted in and the guy from the supermarket?

The supermarket guy attended the professors college and after getting drunk and making a nuisance had to be admonished by professor. This was quite awkward because professor was forced to do it to satisfy authorities and ended up kissing student (supermarket guy) to show no hard feelings. This turned into very uneasy relationship which prof couldn`t handle so he had him dismissed from college - blighted supermarket guy`s life which is why he was a supermarket guy. As prof was dying he wanted to make amends.

P.S. Apart from above, the prof was in the programme because he was `advisor` to government on killers released from jail so knew all about the first murdered woman and the part of the second murdered woman, who had been monitoring her. I think we are to assume that second one was murdered because she wanted to spill the beans to all and sundry about the first murdered woman being a killer herself. That is why she went visiting woman and husband.

After thinking about it for two days, that is what I think happened so hope it makes sense

..and you know that the husband 'did it'.....! He ended up trying to kill himself and the two kids...
