MM & KM Link Games March [Week 2]

Well after a weekend of March madness, "hare" we are again!

As the saying goes:
Some are born great, some acquire greatness ~ and some have greatness thrust upon them! Perhaps we can never repeat the inborn ability for linkages shown by wickedtongue, so all that we can request is "Thrust! Thrust!"

I have been asked to restate the ground rules and I have traced them back to the following posting when they were refined:

This posting (above) also has a link back to the original set of rules (dated 26 Oct 2006). Let me emphasise that I (personally) refrain from playing, so that I can remain impartial at all times when it comes to scoring.

To my mind, the philosophy behind these links games was articulated in the middle of January as "A means for having fun and promoting good fellowship. Serious applicants need not apply".

This philosophy is as true now as it was then.

KM kickoff first at some ungodly hour for a Saturday morning (estimated 7.30am tomorrow) and MM kickoff at 9.00am tomorrow (if wickedtongue can control his wicked finger)

hey i've got the weekend off work so am going to spend the night in the shrubery, watching out for low flying sarumite and any one with a trip wire. See you all there, I'll bring the corkscrew if sombody will bring the wine, we wont bother with the glasses.

Hi Jan and everybody else. I will fetch the wine!...(enough whinining goes on in there anyway!)...perhaps we could get evrybody drunk, so they fall into a deep sleep, and then tiptoe out and beat them all to it!!!
I can't make my mind up which category of greatness I fall into Crofter!!!...no DON'T answer that!!

Surely Sarumite should fetch the marmite butties!! He could do a 'food drop' whilst he parachutes in! Mind you, he might have a new plan of action this week! :-)

I suggest we put those sticky fly papers thingies up--that should get him!

Where is the honourable Sarumite?--I suppose he is off giving the villagers back their donkeys-a la magnificent 7--or else he's down the pub, as we would be if it was half decent!!

I've given up the twigloo after my total failure last week and was thinking of digging a tunnel, but the wine sounds a better option - it fits the 'means for having fun' philosophy mentioned above and, who knows, relaxing rather than lurking in the shrubbery may be a betterstrategy.
