bf acting weird
2 Answers
my boyfriend of a year has been acting very strangely for the past 2 days and im not sure how i should b feeling! everything has been great between us and we have been talking alot lately about saving to get a place together in a years time. i couldn't be happier. iv recently got a new job and i was so happy after the interview because i really wanted the position plus i was glad that all the people working their are my age so we r on the same wave length and it seems like it is going to be fun. i told my bf this who took it the wrong way assuming that i was trying to make him jealous that there were young lads there for me to get to know. he asked me to swear that none of them were good looking to which i replied 'well they r ok but that doesn't mean to say i fancy any of them because im in love with you'. he was angry at this and we argued. since this arguement has cleared up he has been very on and off with me. i havent been out for the night much recently but have planned to go out on the town on friday night to one of the local clubs. he is staying in for the night and said he will pick me up so i can stay at his but i had already arranged to stay at a friends. i think he was quite put out by this. thing is he is out most weekends when i stay in and i completly understand that he wants to spend some time with his friends as well as me but now im going out he keeps asking about it and has made it clear that he is not happy with me going out. he reckons he trusts me 100% and i havent given him any reason not too. i didnt hear from him all last night and today he rung me but seemed very distant on the phone. im so confused and upset because i love him loads and just want us2 b happy. any suggestions? x

maybe your boyfriend is a little bit jealous. You have a new job, described it as being fun, with loads of new people to get to know and maybe he feels that he may get pushed to the side and that you will want to spend more time with them than him.
My best advice to you is to talk to him about it. Sit him down and chat until it is fully resolved, dont let yourselves argue just try to be as calm as possible, if you love each other so much then you will want to talk it through so that he feels secure and vica versa. If your boyfriend isnt going with you for a night out and not seeing you at all that night, he may feel after the job incident that you are trying to pull away from him, maybe he is mentally preparing himself for the worst. Only some suggestions. Hope what ever you try it works and you are both very happy.

My granny always said that you know your own tricks best, and from my experience she is right. If he thinks you're looking at other people, watch him, that's all I'm saying! It could be that he is just having jitters about the future if talk of setting up a home is on the cards. It could be that he feels left out because you've got a new job, or even that you seem to be getting your life in order (good job, buying a house etc) and he feels unsure about where he is in his life, and what he wants. Whatever the reason you need to talk to him because you don't want to brush your concerns under the carpet only to have everything disintergrate and then you'll find yourself stuck with a house you can't afford and a partner you don't want to be with anymore.
