What ever happened to Mark Jones?

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me?
I listen to Magic1548 (Liverpool radio station), in the summer of last year Mark Jones's show on sunday afternoons which was called Comic Cuts just stopped. No explanation and since then Mark does not seem to have been on air at all, this was around the same time as a big program shake up and DLT returned to saturday mornings, Eamon Holmes replaced Comic Cuts (no comment).
Does anyone know why the program was cancelled and what has happened to Mark as he was one of the best DJ's on Magic (apart from Phil Easton).
