Don't suppose anybody knows anywhere in Manchester which converts the US NTSC videos into PAL ones? Or failing that, anywhere in the UK which offers such a service by post?

Never used 'em, but these were the first ones I found: http://www.peakwhite.com/domestic.htm . It might be worth checking your local Yellow Pages - a lot of photo shops offer this facility. A cheap option might be to find someone with a new-ish player - a lot of them (even the budget ones) offer NTSC playback these days. Never tried it, but you may be able to tape-to-tape. If this is something you need frequently, take a look at some of the budget players available and see which ones offer NTSC playback - if you have a fairly new TV, it should handle the output.

Thanks for that, LeMarchand. Didn't expect it to be quite so expensive!
