What am I to do, I dropped it in a glass of water and now my ringtone ( Mika, Grace Kelly ) is reduced to a tiny hiss and none of the buttons work. Plus, the date has gone back to 06 / 01 / 1980, did we even HAVE mobeys then ?? I can't get any of my bluetooth stuff out ( I had a picture of a duck crossing the road smack bang in the middle of Cambridge followed by 8 ducklings, and then all the traffic stood waiting for them to get to safety ) To mention just one. I'm gutted, any words of comfort ? x x
All your little duckies have arrived on Mitcham Common, so I will be down there early tomorrow morning with a full packet of ammunition, and maybe get myself something a bit tastier for dinner than Sainsbury's 300g roast chicken.
What did you say Whiffey? You will be going to Mitcham Common early tomorrow morning to catch ducks for your dinner? I hope you have enough chocolate habanero. I imagine you will be currying it then.
Sorry peppy, I meant to answer your question before responding to Whiffey's.
After removing the battery and wiping out as much water as you can, try using a blow dryer on it a bit or put it in a very warm place. Consult the place of purchase, maybe you could trade it in for another.
sorry to be the bearer of bad news peppy but a liquid damaged mobile phone is usually irrerpairable it looks like a trip down to the mobile phone warehouse im afraid.
OMG - I'm reporting you to the RSPCMP (Royal Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Mobile Phones) and they will come and arrest you, cruel, heartless woman. Don't you know that most phones cannot swim!!
