Top Gear use a lot of pieces of music over and over again... one of them has just been used when JC hit the M button and turned on the 507bhp option.
It is female choir singing, loud, energetic with modern electronic accompanying them.
It was also used when JC beat the 10 min limit driving the diesel Jag round the Nurberg Ring.

Any ideas?

Hi, I think it's barber's adagio for strings by William Orbit. Not sure what remix they used though. I too like this song.

Hope this helps

Thanks, Irishlad, but I know Orbits Adagio very well... and that isn't it.

This piece is very loud and uplifting. I will try and find a link to the jag vid lol

OK!

Can anyone tell me the name of the piece of music that starts at about 10:50 very quietly in the background and then gets more energetic, hearing it perfectly, at 11:30?

Found a link!

We can narrow it down to one of two tunes - because they've both been given on here. It's either Hanging [Outro] or Escape, composed by Craig Armstrong, for the Plunkett & Macleane soundtrack
