I quite fancy having the odd flutter on sporting events while they are in progress (watching on tv) as you get a feel as to what is going to happen. Can anyone reccomend a good site to look at re having a flutter on football etc while you watch on tv. Is there a minimum you have to bet (as my stakes would be a max of 2 or 3 quid) and is there a time limit re putting bets on - can you still bet online until the last minute of a football match?

Betfair.com is good. Minimum bet is �2, you can normally bet on the match result up to 70mins out of 90. Lots of other bets available, number of goals, cards etc. I have managed to turn �10 into �30 in 2 weeks by safely betting there will be 1 goal in a game a few times.
