Kids TV show

Can someone please help, I am trying to recall an old live action childrens tv show, possibly early nineties.

I seem to recall there was a shop or something that grew plants and there was one large plant in the front of the shop who was alive (and I think could talk) regular people used to visit the show.

I only had terrestrial tv at this point which might complicate matters less.

I appreciate the vagueness, but any ideas would be appreciated, its really racking my brain
