what exactly is the fund for and when and hopefully she is, found safe and well what will they do with all the money? anybody know?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I believe that at the moment it will cover some costs of the investigation into her disappearance. Obviously the longer the case goes on for the less time and money the police will invest into the case.
I suppose if she was found they would donate the money to charity, or start up their own. Something charitable anyway I would presume.

Let the parents starve. Teach them right! It's not as if they're totally devastated by the loss of a child, I mean they've still got two more, what's the problem? They look happy enough. I'm sure that when they eventually get back home, he'll be able to carry on working as if nothing has happened.
It seems that they're both strongly religeous and caring parents.
Hah! this'll teach them! I'm sure that they won't be like a lot of couples who suffer the permenant loss of a child (assuming the worst-case scenario) whose life collapses. They won't lose their jobs, friends and be gawped at.
They won't spend the rest of their lives regretting the one evening they took a "risk" and it went wrong. I'm sure that they would rather have the money than their daughter.
