I normally think dr who is ok but nothing special but this last 2 part story was brilliant and the acting was excellent.
one slight flaw with the ending is that the guy in the wheelchair would be 107 if he was a day !

i think the acting from david tennant and jessica hyne were both superb. shame they have to put up with muppet martha (shes an ok actor just the character is crap)
i was wondering, when the dctor was asking matron to go with him whether he was suggesting some sort of galactic menage a trois? (mind you with capt jack back in couple of weeks perhaps that will really happen)

I thought it was a great story and we don't know what year that was, he could've been 107 and does it say how old the boy is meant to be? I know Thomas Sangster is 16 or 17 but on love actually in 2002 when he was 13, he looked about 9! Apart from that, I thought it was a REALLY good episode but when that guy was on about what happened to his family, I was really ****** off when he said that his little sister got trapped in every mirror, and when ever you look in the mirror and see the tiniest thing move behind you, that is her, to me, it felt as though the writers were putting that in JUST to scare little kids! What a way to ruin a great episode.
I thought it was a great episode too. The only flaw for me was the vindictiveness of the punishment meted out to the family. Maybe the doctor got a little TOO human.
On the other hand, unlike Torchwood above, I thought the "girl in the mirror" bit was a nice idea. Yeah, it might scare the kids but isn't that the point? After all, I would literally hide behind the sofa as a child.

I lover Doctor Who and agree with you all that this 2-parter was fantastic - made me cry too bednobs! I also agree with you that the character of Martha is rubbish - bring back Rose I say lol!!!! We are taking kids to a Doctor Who convention on Saturday - think I am more excited than them! Just a shame David Tennant isn't going - have to make do with Sylvester McCoy and Peter Davidson!!
Don't call Peter "Davidson" to his face, will you gleaveyweave, his acting name is Davison.
