B!tching about Ziggy and New Boys...
15 Answers
What is with the girls always b!tching about Ziggy...? Why do they keep saying he's "too good to be true" and there's something he's hiding and all that jazz....?
Personally i think he's just a nice, decent bloke and it must all come down to jealousy. What do you think...? I think he is far too intelligent for the likes of Chanelle who i heard this morning that she has never heard of the book '1984' and he seems to try and convince himself and others she's more intelligent that she comes across.
As for the new boys, i dont mind Gerry but cant stand that bloody Seany. I think he's horrible and i'm glad BB made him feel bad about what he did to Lesley. Also, who does he think he is saying "the situation is... we're taking this double bed" if Ziggy was a bit more manly and assertive he wouldve told them where to go!!

It guess you can get very paranoid in there. And Seany said they were going to ask Ziggy about bed first but basically went out and said 'we've decided...' I dont like him at all.
I'll agree with you about Seany, hun! He seems horrible and I really felt sorry for Lesley!
Did you watch BBLB yesterday? They had Wendy Richard on and she was saying how similar Ziggy is to Cliff Richards, in the way he speaks. I knew he reminded me of someone!
Hope you had a lovely weekend, hun. x

That's it! I knew his voice sounded familiar!
Anyway - with regard to the question - it's simply a gender thing.
For six years I worked in an office with twenty-one other people - all women. You can guarnetee that what i did, said, where I was, where I wasn't, what i ate, and drank, anything about me was observed, simply because i was the only male. It's not necessarily malicious - it is just part of a group dynamic - Ziggy just has to learn to go with it, and not be so keen to accentuate differences which he cannot change.

I don't like Seany either. I couldn't believe that he just took Ziggys bed, (only asked him after he'd decided!!) I liked the way Ziggy said OK for now, but we can review it later! I think that was so he wouldn't get nominated.
Laura did surprise me, she is funny but I think we'd better keep an eye on her!!!

Thankyou 4getmenot - that's very kind.
I think my experience of life in general has coloured who i am, and therefore my opinions, but having worked with women for so long, and having a wife and three daughters, means I do get the serious inside view of the way women think.
If, as I have, you can become 'one of the girls', you get an insight into how women interact with each other when there are no men around - and if like me, you take it on board, and think about what you see and hear, it helps to break down the barriers that our culture puts between the genders.
Men are often brought up with the idea that men 'don't understand' women, and vice versa, but rthat's just a lazy cop out to prevent men from having to put a little work and effort into seeing that yes, the sexes are different, but that is not an excuse to dip out, it's a reason to get involved, ans explore people who think and reason and feel differently.
I find it fascinating, and learn something every day.
