I'm a student, about to go onto univercity, to study somthing in the media line, not too sure yet. If there are any producers or film editors out there, could you give me an idea of what your job involes, the hours, the pay, and how easy or hard it will be for me to get a job in this line. Thank you

Media jobs are notoriously hard to break in to, there is currently worksunderway to regulate the abundance of unpaid (and verging on illegeal) work experience opportunites in this field.
Hope this helps!

The media industry is hard to break into. Your best bet which still won't guarantee you a job is:
- Specialise in a field. Find out exactly what you want to do
now and stick to it. If you do not know then you may be seen
as a jack of all trades but master of none.
- If its creative then definitely know your tools, techniques and
have an outstanding portfolio
- Get as much experience as possible starting from now.
