Indiana Jones is making a comeback, so is Die Hard, even though their stars are on the verge of being eligible for a bus pass. Do you think this is one film too far? Will these films add to the respective trilogies or are they just money spinning star vehicles? Even Rocky has made a comeback recently and Rambo is rumoured to be donning his headband again. Is it worth it?
All down to the Director and if the same actors are used or not in my opinion: Harry Potter in ten years with a buffed out Radcliffe might not have the same charm, but Arnie getting blasted into space to the Predators home planet to settle some unfinished business... that's my cup of tea!
Are you thinking of messin with john Mclain? Not a good idea, die hard withaveston was my fave but this new one looks good, it comes out the day after i get back from Spain and so we are going on the saturday.
Why would millionaire film stars need a bus pass anyway? Private jet more like.
Not sure what your question is driving at Ed. are you concerned that 'over the hill' actors are reprising roles, or just that there are yet more sequels being realised this year?
worryingly ageist comments!
I think all these films should remain in the past. Whatever people think of them they were a part of that era.
I detest the comebacks & the re-makes. Why do they invest in old talent (seen it all before) when they could invest in new talent (give us something inovative).
The original classics will remain classics, while the 'combacks & the re-makes are usually rubbish and disappear without a trace. I HATE THEM.

Should Indiana Jones and others be making a comeback?
