How would a classic racing car say like from Sir Stirling Moss's era compete in a drag race with a modern day family car like say a Ford Focus, just a basic model not the sporty one?

AM DB4 zagato
http://www.supercars.net/cars/64.html

rated 0-60 in 6 seconds 0-100 14.5 with a standing 1/4 mile in 14.9

2001 ford focus zx3 0-60 in 8.7 seconds 1/4 mile in 16.8

roughly equivilent to a top end BMW 3 series (not an M3)

I know which I'd rather have though :c)
A "family" Ford Focus is more likely to have a 0-60 figure in the range 10 to 13 seconds along with a top speed between 100 and 125 mph.

Sir Stirling Moss drove racing sports cars of types comparable to the DB4 Zagato listed above but also raced Formula 1.

An example F1 car is the Maserati 250F: 0-60 under 4.5 secs and top speed of around 170 mph.
