UV Light, How clean is your House.

Ok, on the TV show 'How Clean Is Your House' they use a 'special UV light' to show hidden bacteria.

What I'm wondering is, is it really a special UV light or do they just have a bog standard UV light and attach a special chemical which the bacteria sticks to or is it something like skin cream?

I just want one of these to fill my curiosity of how clean my home actually is.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've some bad news for you, your house is coverred in bacteria, and you and I and everybody else is quite literally a seething mass of bacteria.

You have more bacterial cells in your body than human ones, indeed without them in your gut you'd die.
