Please can someone tell be the difference bewteen a USM Canon EF 90-300mm f/4.5-5.6 Telephoto Lens and a non USM Canon EF 90-300mm f/4.5-5.6 Telephoto Lens apart from the price?

USM lenses have an UltraSonic Motor, they are quieter faster and more accurate for auto focus.
