looks like it, enjoyed the prog but obviously a lot was staged and at no time did i ever think they would go through the ice ,i mean come on two well know characters on tv dying through making a comedy prog which it was
i would like to see the outakes from this

the trip was to the 1996 position of the magnetic north pole - (the magnetic pole moves, and is currently off Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic) - rather than the geographic pole.
