i know theres about 10 seconds of incidental music before Handels Hallelujah - whether its part of a song or not i don't know

It might be Too Much of a Good Thing by The Sons.

This song is on the Soundtrack Album / CD.

The 30 second preview on Amazon doesn't reveal that particular part of the song but it sounds a bit like it.

If this isn't the song, I hope you eventually find it.

wait, no, no it isn't that not it, still a good song, but it is about 3 seconds before handels halelujah is played,

Having just watched that part of the film I think it's just music from the film score composed by Todd Rundgren.

This is incidental music to set the mood of the scene at that moment in the film.

You might have a difficult time trying to get this music in full unless you know someone in the know.
