crossroads change your name to walter mitty, I just ask a friend who is alift engineer and he said all what you have said in his words not mine "what a load of bollox" all lifts have service contracts, nobody apart from accredited engineers is allowed to touch them and they cannot, repeat cannot drop. what an exciting life you lead in your head.

Question Author
**** sally, its not my fault that the boss made me go to the lift, and the lift engineer is correct, except for the fact that the saftey devices and lift cable on this lift were broken.
I don't know how thats just what i was told.
I don't know if it dropped by itself or somebody pressed it to go down all i know is that it started moving down and i grabbed onto the mantanence ladder.

Gosh.... you're not saying his story might not be true are you???
The thing is peasant a few days bfore he said he had walked Hadrians wall in a day, (obviously a world record) when picked up on the fact that this was impossible he said well it was about 10 miles, the wall is 84 mile long, he obviously lives in cloud cuckoo land, I think crossroads should start writing fantasy books they are easier to believe than the poop he puts on here, sally xx
