To be honest selling 3 dvd's for a fiver or 7 for a tenner is hardly going to make you rich lol

The outcome will depend on the scale of his operation.

Selling a few pirated DVD's here and there could result in a fine and maybe the loss of his computer equipment. That risk is set against him probably making a few quid before being caught.

If however he operates on an industrial scale, then he/she will probably go to prison and any assets aquired from running the business could also be seized under the proceeds of crime act.
