Missed the end last night, did the dad do it and was he abusing her?

He was abusing her yes, but he didn't do it. She killed herself as a result. The dad then went to top of the hospital steps, where his daughter jumped, and was threatening to kill himself. PC Gary Lucy (phwooaarr!) was about to talk him out of jumping when the other copper (don't know his name) started telling the dad it was his fault his daughter killed herself and tormented him into jumping.

So:

1. Dad abused girl.
2. Girl jumped.
3. Dad isn't sure whether to jump.
4. Copper makes dad feel guilty.
5. Dad jumps.
