Derren Brown-Mind control.

If anyone can tell me the answer to this, some one on this website can. How does he do it? In the beginning of the show some one walks past a ringing phone box. They answer it and fall asleep. Some time later (it is a matter of minutes or hours?) they come to, and answer the phone again. They then put the phone down and walk away. Are they actors? I think they are, but if not, HOW the HELL is he doing it? Tell me please, it's been keeping me awake for weeks!

I have watched Derren Brown since he first started on telly and haveloved everything he does.....having studied a little magic when I was younger I know (or can figure out) how he does some of his tricks but this one, if it's the real deal, has me stumped also......on last nights show a hospital porter walked by the girl slumped by the phone......he never even glanced in her direction and to me that's seriously odd, the only connection to the scene is supposed to be with the person on the phone so why did a hospital worker ignore someone who would have appeared to need assistance?

I can only guess that he has previously used some hypnotic suggestion and implanted a keyword and is repeating it down the phoneline to the person....other than that I'm as in the dark as you.

My guess is that he say's this, "hi this is Darren Brown, can you pretemd to fall asleep and we'll pay you �10" or something to that affect.
