On The Simpsons when the family goes to pick up the car for Mr Burns, they end up in the middle of a opera that Krusty the clown is singing, when Sideshow Bob steps in he sings the same song but with the right word. i would like to know what that opara song is called and who it is done by.....Thanks xx

if I am thinking of the right episode then the song is 'Send In The Clowns'. I have found a link to wikipedia which explains in a short paragraph the song writer, singers that have covered it and the musical it is from.

sorry that is the wrong episode im affraid that was the episode were Gabbo takes over and that was krusty's come back special.

the episode is "the Italian bob" its an italian song in the oprah?
He sings it after Krusty falls down from the trap door. its the one that makes homer cry
