We have a gorgeous female 7 month old kitten, Mindy. We're considering getting another kitten as me and my partner are both out working all day now. Do you think Mindy is still young enough to accept and get along with another cat or do you think it would be unfair to get another one?
i agree too. get another kitten. while you and your partner are out at work all day, they will have each others company but also get if you havent already a decent size scratching post as its something for them to play with and helps keep their claws nice and trim and it will save them clawing your furniture too. it would be a good idea to get another girl too.
chase; get another. my cats are one yr apart. it was so cute i had a girl firm and got a lil boy; she mothered him like crazy (after that first wk of torturing him to no end) lol
My first cat was 4 years old when I got another kitten. Older cat a bit tetchy at first but now they are the best of buddies. It's funny when they go out, I'm lucky as I live surrounded by fields, but they walk side by side so arrogant, they do actually look out for one another and stay united when new cats come on the block. Get another one you won't regret it. Best of luck.
Definitely! Mindy will love you forever for getting her a friend and playmate and you'll never have to worry about her being lonely when nobody's at home!
Yes - we got another little black and white one - named her Marge. She's very funny and not at all timid. There was a bit of hissing from Mindy at first but now they're just play fighting. I think they're going to be the best of friends. Thanks for all the advice everyone
