will you mourn Blue Peter boss?
So Blue Peter editor Richard Marson has gone over the show's recent phone-in scandals. They bother me much less than the way this flagship kids show has been turned into an inappropriate sex-fest during his reign. Presenters Liz Barker, Zoe Salmon and, most frequently Konnie Huq (who strikes me as someone who craves attention from males), have paraded around in bikinis as if they're hosting BP from the Playboy mansion. And at other times they've dressed and behaved in what can only be described as a provocative manner. There have been numerous editions of the show I would not want kids of mine to see. I don't doubt they have a huge adult audience, but surely they're supposed to cater for children not grown-ups. What do you think?

Still, I always waited eagerly for the time of the year when Valerie Singleton would get her Advent Crown out for the lads.
Or when John and Peter (Purves) would make the lard-and-bird-seed cake. They would get Lesley Judd to hang it out in the Blue Peter Garden, and hopefully, we'd all get to see some tts.
Then there was Fred/Freda the androgynous, cross-dressing tortoise....
Haven't watched Blue Peter for..25+(?) years - but I might just start watching again.....
