In real life he has been sacked due to alcoholism.

In the show, he is acting as roadie for Staus Quo.

Bruce Jones wasn't sacked for being an alcoholic.

He was sacked for being drunk and abusive in a restaurant, during which he slated his fellow cast members to a reporter, told extremely foul jokes loudly and swore at and abused other diners in the restaurant.

Les isn't a roadie for Status Quo - he is a roadie for a tribute band. He will meet another woman and not come home.

Cilla got a job as a cleaner in an old people's home where one of the residents took a shine to her and employed her as his full time carer so he could move back in to his own home.

He dies next week, and Cilla sells the necklace he gave her for �45000 - and leaves for Vegas. That's the end of Cilla and Les.

Bruce Jones has a holiday home here in my home town. He is a foul mouthed,abusive, drunken braggard and I have seen it first hand. We are all hoping he will now sell up and go elsewhere.

We have the "comedian" Eddie Large here in my town. He too is awful, loud-mouthed, pig-headed. Says "do you know who I am" in local shops and pubs.
