I am interested to find out what others thought about the Peter Serafinovich Show on BBC2. Perhaps as my years advance I fail to see the humour in "avantgarde comedy," this show was the singularly most unfunny thing I have viewed in many a year. I dont think Catherine Tate or the Little Britain team will feel the need to up their game having seen it!

i watched it last week because the hype said it would be a great new comedy series, i thought it was crap, is this what we pay our licence for, then i want a rebate!
i must admit pampers i watched half of it...and laughed a couple of times coz it was just stupid..bring back harry hill i say.
I missed the first one so watch last night's edition, I didn't find it funny either.
He has been in a few radio comedies that I have liked, maybe he just had better scripts on radio.

Thank you all for your responses. I feel now that I have not missed the point of the humour in this show and that it is simply not that funny. Time for some Fast Show repeats if this is the best the BBC can come up with.
i turned on at the QVC style sketch where he tried to bite her neck. after that i quickly turned over!
I actually thought it was great!! Something a bit different. Not every sketch works, as you would expect, but most of it was funny. Move on people, Fast Show, Little Britain, and Catherine Tate are old hat.
I didnt see it but come on the fast show, how dated is that. I was always working when the fast show was on, so after hearing how brilliant it was I watched some repeats recently and just didn't think it was all that.

Maybe I would have liked this though. Little Britain has never ever made me laugh. The Mighty Boosh, It Crowd and Scrubs are the cream of comedy at the moment.
Like Gina in the first post, I watched the first ep having been told to expect hilarity. Absoluely terrible. The only possible saving grace for me was the 'Let's ...' sketch - but that's only because it slightly reminds me of Jasper Carrott's Wiggy - until it goes too far with a 'wacky' idea such as 'babies are natural cooks.' They're really not and I see no humour in claiming otherwise.
Typical rubbish, written by right-on ex Media students, exactly the same as the rubbish with Jennifer Saunders in before it.!!
