Hearing tales like this really makes me mad.
You see I am from a big family.. I am one of 8 kids myself. My Mum and Dad have been married for over 30 years and have always worked hard to provide for their family.
Now my Dad is too ill to work and needs full time care which is being provided for my mom. 5 of my brothers and sisters still live at home, and are either at school or college. Because my Mum and Dad are now living on benefits, through no fault of there own, our family get tarred with the same brush as the lowlifes reported in the paper yesterday.
I would also like to know how this family gets all the benefits and are able to afford TV's, DVD's and Satelite TV. I know my parents are living on the bread line and find it hard enough to clothe my younger siblings yet alone give them games consoles etc.... They obviously know how to work the system better than most. It yet again goes to prove how being honest and hardworking throughout all your life really does you no favours at all in this mixed up, do gooder loving, overly PC, riff raff loving country
Papers and society in this day and age try to make out that if you are from a big family, you must live like the slobs, wear nothing but burberry tracksuits, drink white lightening and have a dozen ASBO's. But it is not true.
I have been well raised and have a very strong work ethic, so please dont think that because people are from a big family and circumstances dictatethat they are now on benefits, that they are all like the people reported on yesterday.
