I never did hear why John Parrott left (or was dropped from?) the programme. Does anyone know?
I see Ally McCoist has also gone, now, although that's probably because of his job with Rangers - can anyone confirm?

I think John left by choice because he wanted to become involved with snooker again and now commentates on the championships
