has anyone seen the new advert about drinking? the girl loses her balloon, the guy looks like batman, tries to get it, then falls off the scaffolding and goes splat on the pavement...why does he look at the camera blinking after his fall? as if he's alive? surley the point is, it looks like he's dead...his body is mangled and theres blood from his head, atleast he should be unconc, not blinking like nothing happened...is this some kind of implicit message i missed? - although if im honest, ive never felt invincible when im drunk!

I think it's trying to show that he's just paralysed himself pretending to be a superhero.

ah, yeah, fair enough, didnt think of that! i suppose that would make sense...i think i just presumed people who fell from those kind of heights would naturally be dead or atleast unconcious!
I think they did that because it's more shocking to see him awake but unable to move....it gives me the chills!

Mind you, it's not as bad as the one where the mum is driving her kids, they crash and the boy in the back who isn't wearing a seatbelt headbutts the mum and kills her!!
Talking of seat belts.

I recently had to stand at the side of a busy road for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to pick me up.

To pass away the time I decided to count how many people were NOT wearing seat belts.

I was staggered at how many people WERE NOT wearing seat belts, at a rough guess about 15%.

Although it covered all ages and sexes, it was mostly young men.

I live on the edge of Birmingham which has a high Asian population, and I have to say (without being racist) that many of the people not wearing seat belts were Asian.

I have noticed this before, many time I have seen young Asian children STANDING UP on the back seats of cars as the parents are driving round.

I am amazed that ANYONE drives around without wearning a seat belt.
