watching ITV on line

when i open ITV.com the video player window is black no selection available i can t find out why the help file is pretty useless, got a fast pc on a network it runs on my 5 yr old laptop but not on my descktop dell. i have norton security on the dell but can t find owt wrong there help please John

Please go to Youtube, https://www.youtube.com/ , and try to view any video there. If you can't see a picture, you're one of the countless people who've experienced problems with the Flash player plug-in for your browser. (The problem affects all sites which use Flash for displaying video files, which is why I'm suggesting trying a different site to the one where you're having problems).

If you can't see Youtube videos, go to 'Add/Remove Programs' and uninstall all references to 'Adobe Flash Player'. Then download and re-install from here:
http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
