There is an awful lot of top gear shown on new channel Dave, especially at the weekends! Why can't there be an equal balance of programs? Does anyone else agree?

Absolutely! Everytimne I switch over to see what's on Dave during the day it's ALWAYS Top Gear! I don't mind the programme - quite like it - but not all the time! Abit of variety would be better!
There can never be too much of Richard Hammond on TV.
It used to be UKTV G2, and Top Gear was on all the time on that too. I've basically seen all the episodes 3 times because of that channel.
Yes I agree. I was watching TG last night on BBC2 and commented that I was getting fed up with it then we realised that that is probably due to the fact that we are watching it on Dave too.
I must admit i do get slightly bored with the whole middle aged, badly dressed, middle class boys love in/smug fest
I love Top Gear, but I have to agree. Dave is a pile of pants actually, trying to be some kind of Men and Motors or a televisual version of Nuts. Its boring, and the comedic novelty value of calling it Dave is just trite and unfunny in my opinion.

ps - I love Top Gear.
Surely the name "Dave" for a tv channel, gives you some idea of what kind of programming this channel is going to show.
Does it?

Shouldn't they show some sports then, like darts or pub skittles and shove a ha'penny?

In the case presented by Glpblondie, it should be called Stig then!
Octavius- There is a televised version of Nuts Magazine... it's called the Nuts channel
Too much Top Gear?? There can never be too much Top Gear!! 'Too much' and 'Top Gear' simply do not belong in the same sentence!!
potterfan, I did not know that. And now I wish I still didnt!

taliesin, too much of a good thing is a bad thing.
