Nick Park - Aardvark Animations, etc
5 Answers
Was Nick , either his company or himself, or some of his co-animators responsible for making Trap Door in 1984?
I know it's very simlar clay animation to that of Wallace & Gromit, and it pre-dates the Creature Comforts stuff by a few years, so i was jusy wondering.

The Trap Door was created by Terry Brain and Charlie Mills (voices by Willie Rushton).
Terry & Charlie joined initials and created CMTB Productions (now CMTB Animation & Queensgate Productions). Steve Box (now of Aardman) helped with a few episodes of Tapdoor and Stoppit and Tidyup before joining Nick Park.
Terry Brain is credited as an aminator on Chicken Run, Creature Comforts and Wallace & Gromit (Were-Rabbit).

As the others have said, no Nick Park wasn't involved in Trap Door, it was completed before Nick finished his animation studies...
