The Spice Girls 'come-back' has too much changed?
15 Answers
They were once the Queens of Pop. They released number one hits again and again, their film was based on friendship and young girls idolised them around the globe. However, a decade later their released single reached only 20 in the charts and their greatest hits album was less popular than Leona Lewis'. There have been reports of arguments during rehearsals, a possible posh pregnancy and a manic Geri. What do you think? Is it time they called it a day? Or are theses minor hiccups that will not ruin the world's most awaited comeback?

They are no Take That.
Even if Take That did get back together for the money, their comeback was a long planned one ~ and completed with style, a lot less fuss and with a soupcon of talent.
The Spice Girls comeback will be short-lived and probably the biggest anti-climax in history since the return of Dirty Den.

I reckon that their image was ruined by the well publicised fact that they never really got on and that Geri would probably not cross the street to p' on Scary if she was on fire.
Not exactly the kind of friendship they used to promote.
I also think that performing their CIN single in LA rather than coming back to the UK sucked and didn't help their comeback.

Its just a very boring song, so maybe a hiccup as girl power seems to have given way to cheesy sentimental pap (a la westlifeless). I also think that Leona Lewis warbles out tedious pap, so presumably the single-buying public feel that Leonas monotonous drones are slightly less irksome than these wannabes.
