Hi all, I have heard that season two of Heroes was commissioned for a twenty-four episode run, but have only made eleven due to a writers strike or something.
so does anyone know:
Is this true?
Will they continue making the remaining episodes after the strike?
and..Is the strike still going on?
Thanks for any help..
I'm at the same place as you (episode 11) and now we seem to be stuck in the waiting game!
I've read a bit of the forums on NBC site and apparently we could see the remaining episodes as early as Feb 08 or as late as Fall (Autumn) 08 I really hope I'm not waiting too long though!
The last writers strike went on for about 22 weeks apparently!
Thanks Kate and bednobs, I'm only upto episode five at the moment but I have borrowed all the eleven from a friend ;-)
...that's why I wondered about there only been eleven, and then heard about the strike situation. I know no-one can say how long it's likely to last but when did it start?
I'll slow down watching them if that's the case about it been maybe Autumn.. No I lie, I find myself 'just putting on the next one'
So far, for the viewers, the strike hasn't been felt too badly here in US, as things slow down during Christmas anyway, but once the doldrums of winter set in, we will be faced with more and more reality shows. The night talk shows were the first affected.
EngTeach, do you mean that rip roaring laughter fella Letterman and the like... had scripture?
Watch out Leno!
Don't remind me about reality shows mate. One stops and then another one starts. Here in the UK we get to look forward to 'I'm no longer famous that's why i'm in the big brother house' co.uk.com dot blah etc...
Hope you have a propper crimbo... before the doldrums
