I thought that last week when Niki got voted off, I really didn't care who won this year after that. However given the choice of two lesser evils I'd have gone for Rhydian.

I was all set to vote for Rhydian but that last song swung it,Leon sang it much better and i voted for him last minute.Rhydian will have a career out of it anyway.

So Leon won. Well I'm sure he'll be number 1 in the charts at Christmas and then what? Move over Michelle McManus and Steve Brookstein, Leon's coming to join you. I'm positive that Rhydian has a huge career ahead of him - with a voice like that, he deserves to be heard.

to be fair this wasn't the best x-factor we were spoilt with shane ward, journey south and andy abraham i didn't relly care who won this one but even tho i am welsh i was so glad leon won out of the three of them the single he defo sang the best rhydion is so plastic i know he can sing but he not my cup of tea i not liked him from the auditions but hey who really cares i won't be buying a cd of any of them

What a farce!!!! But like the majority feel Rhydian has got a future ahead of him and he will make it big. Leon - one hit wonder, he has put on a great big act n e r v o u s my eye, but its worked for him. It's been really c**p this year.

Agree. Am kind of glad though that Rhydian didn't win. He would be stuck in a contract, have a one-hit wonder, and then struggle to be taken seriously. Would be better off seeing what offers come his way theatre/musical wise, and then taking time to choose what's best.

Again, didn't think much of this year's whole series really.

Rhydian was the tops all through the series, good voice and IN TUNE.
Leon was a wimp all the way through, weak voice and OUT OF TUNE most of the time.
I just hope that Rhydian makes it, good luck to him.

The British public will nearly always favour an underdog, voting out of sympathy and support for him/her and not bothering to vote for hot favourites - a scenario which often crops up on Strictly Come Dancing. The TV stations involved with these shows may not like the results but, following recent scandals over the fixing of phone-voting, they daren't diddle the outcome. Had Rhydian not been such a runaway favourite, I reckon he'd have stormed it. I thought Leon, and Same Difference for that matter, weren't worthy of being in the same series as him. As for Kylie Minogue, she looked terrible - I know, I know, she's been ill - and I can't imagine she added many Leon votes with that wig and outfit on. Maybe she was trying to make Dannii look ok...
