It is 36 years now since Pete Duel Died and I know he has many fans on this site, can i just say hi to everyone who will remember the loss, and those who still keep his memory alive,

I didn't know they replaced him on Alas Smith and Jones.

They replaced him with Roger Davis, the actual voice over on the opening credits of the first series. He was also the only person Kid Curry ever actually killed in the episode 'Smiler With A Gun'. he was fair, not a favourite of mine, but he has done alot in recent years with Ben Murphy to support the memory of the show.

Every year on this date,since i've been on AB,i.e for 2005,2006 and now 2007, myself or Dot and indeed,other past ABers,have put a rememberance thread up for Pete Duel. My previous link to wikipedia showed the history of who Pete Duel is and that he died on this day 36 years ago. This is hardly a wind up thread:-(

I do not know how many, the thread we did last year had a good number of heartfelt replies, the one we did the year before was very good too, on the old cb we used to post a bithday thread to him too, I honestly believe that if you had not interferred in this bthread it would have been better recieved, you have spoilt it now, if you have no interest in someone you never heard of why stick your beak in you div

Dot and Linda....I'm sure this is how we first met on old CB chatting about Pete Duel.....although I didn't know who he was until you both said about Alias Smith and Jones.....I'm sure Catwoman and Arful will be here to reply later. x
