Can anyone remember an old black-and-white BBC film which featured a Kodiak bear (well, a man in a Kodiak bear suit)?

I'm not sure if you mean a Tales from Europe programme called The Singing Ringing Tree..it has bear(he's a prince under a spell), a vain princess, a and a wicked dwarf as it's 3 main characters. It also features a unicorn and a giant fish. Here is a link which has some pictures from it..the bear suit looks particularly fake but it is a beautiful story about the positive effects of kindness and love.
