Can anyone tell me the Vietnam series from the early eighties which was on kinda late at night that had the signature tune 'Painted Black' by the Rolling Stones .... it follwed the mis-fortunes if a platoon each week ...?

This is the question that I've been wanting the answer to the last couple of days, thanks for that. 'Tour of Duty' But, Lodekka, the sone WAS 'Painted Black' and NOT Paint it black
