Now one of my friends as a kid used to collect clown faces, she'd have them hanging in her bedroom, they've always freaked me out a little. And today I read children don't like clowns and even older kids are scared by them too, this is according to new research that's been done.some of the kids found them frightening. More than 250 children, aged four to 16, found the images were widely disliked.they are used in a lot of scary films, one of my favourites actually is Stephen Kings "IT" that centres around Pennywise the clown and I'm sure I've wanted to put it on in the past and one of my friends didn't want to watch it because of the clown in it. Is there anything you're scared of that people find a little strange? My friend is terrified of balloonsyou just have to run up to her with one and she screams like a baby and runs away. I think she's scared they're going to burst.

I can truthfully say I am scared of nothing.

There are many things I do not like. I do not like spiders that much, but I would not say I am scared of them.

I love snakes, other creepy crawlies do not bother me, clowns are funny, the dark is fine, ghosts are cool, I like driving fast, dying is natural, chavs ouside off licences are just funny.

So to answer your question, nothing!!!
I was scared of clowns as a kid. They still creep me out, its the whole in disguise thing I think. That awful permanent smile. Second to wolves, clowns were big childhood fear and because of that i have never ever been to a circus.

As an adult, I have phobias around spiders (most buglians actually), cant even look at a picture or watch them on tv. This in turn has led to a phobia of opening bags of fruit.

Very scared of rabbits but am trying hard to overcome my horse phobia.
"That awfull permanent smile".

Are you reffering to tony blair. GS.
I'm not keen on clowns, but I'm not scared of them. A similar sort of character from The League of Gentlemen (Royston Vasey) scared me know I think back. Papa Lazarou I think he's called. I went to see their live show and that character had me trembling. I was second row (stalls) and he was too close for comfort. He's similar to a clown facially I suppose. My husband thought I was funnier than Papa Lazarou.

I've always been terrified of heights. I've been abseiling, bungee jumping and novice rock climbing, but the fear never leaves me. After the bungee, I swore I'd never do anything so stupid again.

I can't ride the ferris wheels at fairgrounds. When it's stuck at the top and swaying, it's all I can do to not scream.
I don't really like clows, but ventriloquist's dummies do it for me - I won;t be within touching distance of one.

Watch 'Dead Of Night' and you'll see why.

"Wouldn't I ... wouldn't I ..." Hugo Fitch haunted my dreams as a child.
I really dont like the dolls with china faces, not sure why, I have just always found them to be creepy.
Hmmm, yes, Psychick, China Dolls terrify me too.
