Does anyone know if and where you could get a hold of 'through the dragons eye' on video? I remember watching it when I was at primary school and it was a really good show.

Ah, those were the days. There's a page all about it here where you can look at pictures, download some clips and the theme tune etc... it even has an Episode Guide.

There's a section called "How To Watch It". Under On Video, it says this:

The story was put out on video in about 1994, and the tapes are still available to buy. The tape has not got a BBFC certificate because it is purely educational, and it is only distributed directly by the BBC. This is a double video pack, with five episodes on each tape. Unfortunately the end credits and the Look and Read Eyes have been hacked off most episodes, but you still get all the main story bits. Sounds good? Get ready for a shock. You have to buy the video in a whole pack with teacher's notes and posters too, costing 49.53, plus you have to pay postage of about 3.50 per order. This information is correct as of January 2004, but could change at any time - you need to check with the BBC. For more information about this and all the other Through The Dragon's Eye resources, see the Stuff page. To order you need to quote the Order Code 503475 (or try the old order code, 349859, which was for just the video and around 15 cheaper. You can contact: BBC Educational Publishing, PO Box 234, Wetherby, West Yorkshire, LS23 7EU. Their credit card telephone order line is 0870 830 8000, or fax 01937 845381, or email
