Does anyone else remeber this? My colleagues think I am crazy when i talk about baba papa, baba mama and all the little babas. I can't find anything on google.

yeah, I remember them...they were all jelly bean shaped, but could change shape (kind of like the New Shmoo which came later)...is that right? Maybe the spelling is a bit wrong, hence no luck on google. Could it have been barba papa?? Not sure, but you are not alone, and not mad, they DID exist!!!

yes i remember them too. I recall my sister getting a pink baba in the 70`s for xmas.

baba papa is actually from the french barbe papa(i think the series was french)and is french for candy floss(fathers beard)

dude, i thought i had gone crazy, no-one believed me when i spoke of barba-papa, (although i was spelling it baba papa, so even google found nothing!)they all said i was mad, but now i can prove i am sane after all....man i cant believe it, i been looking for barba papa for must be 8 years......****, i am mad after all!!!

ohmygod!! i know the things you are talking about!! they wre a foreign childrens book and when they wanted to have children they grew them like little jelly beans out of the ground!!! i want to find the books but have had noooo luck!shame.
