Murder 5 U.S.

Am I getting old or is it in genuinely bad taste to create a gameshow whereby the contestants have to deduce who did a murder from a re-enacted crime scene of a real murder?
They have to see if they get the one who was ultimately convicted for it?
Imagine it, someone murders your brother and a few years later it's on the tele, Sue from Surbiton guesses correctly and wins a holiday to Torremolinos...
I'm appalled.

I have to say that I've seen the adverts for this and thought much the same as you.
I've watched and enjoyed CSI but I don't understand this spin off from it at all. For a start how on earth can they deduct anything using techniques from a TV program and secondly what's the pont? Whether it's tasteful or not I've not decided but I am on the verge of indifference.
I'm sure there was a program recently in which the 'prize' was a baby. Basically like pop idol but more parent idol with some girl who was giving up her baby at the end of her pregnancy. Now that I found pretty distasteful.
