tv programme the north country about canada

Just wondered if anyone remembers this programme. I am convinced it was called the North Country. It involved a helicopter flying over Canada,The Rockies, and lots of snow.
I watched this series quite late at night in 1977 when expecting first child and couldn't sleep. I saw it in black and white but that was because we had a very old tv so it may have been in colour.
Eventually saw the real thing 25 years later but worth the wait.
Love to try and get this series if possible.
