What is the name of the main theme tune in the film The Gladiator and who is the artist?

Hans Zimmer wrote the score as he has with so many other films. You'll find loads of Gladiator soundtracks for sale on eBay. I think the main theme is called Now We Are Free.

Further to Philtaz' answer, "Now We Are Free" was written in collaboration with Lisa Gerrard, who also does the vocals.

cheers that was the first bit ineeded but there is also some 'haunting ' music sung by a female....Any ideas?

Just checked the disc, and the only vocalist listed is Lisa Gerrard.
