I have a licence(over 75 so free!) but friends not owning a TV query what the licence position is if you watch ITV Catchup or BBC iplayer>Do they need a licence for that?

I think that watching TV over the internet must spell the end of TV licenses.

How can you demand a person with a TV plays a license, but somene who watches TV on a computer does not need one.

i heard they thinking of a 2nd licence because of computer
I just renewed my T.V licence and noticed it has added PC's to the list of people who have to buy a T.V licence.
