I worked for a time as a removal person, although not in cases of homes made vacant by death ( we preferred live occupants, the tips were better (slightly)). But I have been thinking that a drama/comedy along the lines of the Binmen one of a few years back would be good, so many things happen in just one day of moving. I guess Eric Sykes got there first really, but anyway, Gregor Fisher's character was an interesting one, and hopefully will develop further later on, after all how many people raved after the first episode of other classics, such as Fools and Horses, or Life on Mars for instance ?
I loved the Film and Music banter, and I even got most of the refererences.

I thought it was dreadful. I didn't laugh once. It's just another example of the BBC trying to recreate the feel of The Office and failing miserably. Anyone remember the awful Outnumbered on BBC1 a few months back? It was just as bad. It was like watching a documentary about getting kids ready for school.
Yes, NewDazzler, Only Fools wasn't an immediate hit but there were still laughs in the first episodes and as for Life On Mars, are you kidding? It WAS a hit from the get-go and the huge ratings from ep1 only got bigger every week. It's the biggest hit the beeb's had in years.
