My Sky box has suddenly decided I live in the Midlands. On BBC1, I get Midlands Today instead of Look East and on ITV, Central instead of Anglia. Does anyone know how I can tell it I don't live in the Midlands?

There are no settings on the box which will change this. Have you tried calling Sky? I would guess that they work out what channels you should receive and where on the EPG they should appear by your address. Obviously something has gone wrong. I think it's up to Sky to fix it. I don't know of any way you can yourself.
Using the add channels facility you can add all the extra local regional beeb and itv news and so on......if you google for "sky digibox extra channel frequencies" you'll get loads of pages with instructions on how to do this...you can simply then add your local network to your favourites list.
There has recently been a re-shuffle by ITV as to which regional services you receive. A letter from Sky was sent to customers to inform them of the changes, which are not the fault of sky. I live in York, but receive programs intended for Newcastle! I have complained, but dont suppose we will get Yorkshire back! As for the BBC, you can still choose regional BBC1 content try looking on the on screen program guide somewhere in the 900's before all the adult channels & save it as a favorite to make it easy to find (press blue)
