Why is Matt Dawson no longer a team captain?

He is one of many captains that have been relplaced over the years to try and keep the prog fresh.
Ali went the same way as Bill Beaumont, Gareth Edwards and so on.

Didn't Sue Barker thank Dennis Taylor for standing in for Matt Dawson at the end of the programme? So I assume he will be back. Bring back Ali McCoist I say.

Thanks for the above answers. Last night Sue Barker said he was coming back next week and a couple of weeks ago she said he was 'on the injured list' so I wondered why.
